Cookie dough Ice Cream Pop {recipe}

See the epic awesomeness of a cookie dough ice cream pop! Sugar, chocolate chips and the magic of a freezer.

I'm very proud of the non-mess I made. I'm happy with the delicious flavor of chocolate. I'm proud that I own my own popsicle kit. I'm just excited all the way around. :)

Recipe:
2 1.2 c. of milk
2/3 c. of light brown sugar, packed
couple of pinches of salt
2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/4 c. of mini chocolate chips

Instructions:
Place milk in a bowl and heat to 1-2 minutes in the microwave. Stir n brown sugar and salt until dissolved, Then stir in vanilla.

Place chocolate chips in the bottom of your popsicle mold and then fill to the top with your mixture. Let it freeze and ta-da! Yummy-ness!

Happy 4 month anniversary

Happy 4 months of marriage to my husband! It has FLOWN by and I have enjoyed every moment of it. :)

In our short time of marriage thus far, we have been busy busy.
We have honeymooned in Jamaica
Visited my family in Mobile
Bought a couch
Bought a new car (mine was hit and totalled)
Finished our marriage prep class
Started a new married small group
Learned a bazillion new recipes - some are winners, some made me feel like I want to curl up and cry
hang dry ALL our laundry - BOOM. Pioneer woman move over!
Discovered the awesomeness of ALDI
Started running again/walking more
Have Saturday breakfast (Stephen is fab at making bfast)
Shoot and booked 3 more weddings

The list goes on and on.

Thanks babe for an awesome 4 first months! I look forward to many more.

June 20th, you crept up on me.

Besides work being massively chaotic, its been a busy but good month.

This month was Mom's birthday and Father's Day! I have the best parents!

Plus 2 of my good friends 1st year anniversary! Congrats Brittany and Allison!

We went to another friends wedding (Rachel T) in Auburn and visited with my brother, sister in law and niece, and my sweet friend Sarah got engaged Sunday! Holy moly people!!

We also started a newly married small group with 4 other precious couples. We are studying John MacArthur's study guide to Ephesians! It has been so much fun meeting with these friends and learning more about our Lord!

June 10th also marked Stephen and my 3 month of marriage mark! What an amazing time it has been. I am so thankful for my man!
