Tallulah Designs {Product Review}

One of my former roommates, Heather, is the MOST amazing designer. I'm dead serious. Super talented this girl! I am OBSESSED with her clothing line - dresses, jackets, skirt, and accessories. Her clothing line, Tallulah Designs. Tallulah's offers unique, one of a kind clothing using reclaimed fabrics. And on top of that, the clothing line helps to improve local and international communities! How wonderful is that?!

She is showing her Fall 2013 collection in early March at New Orleans Fashion Week and I can't wait to see what she has to reveal!

Here are a few from her Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 collections.

Anywho, I recently went to see her present her clothing at Pop Up Project, an initiative that promotes economic development in my city by temporarily setting up retail shop in local venues.

I bought THE CUTEST earrings and am dying to show them off! She used the material from some of her Fall 2012 clothes to do these and I just adore them! I have gotten so many compliments on them every time I wear them.

A beautiful bronze pair. These babies looked stunning everything I put on - they were a beautiful subtle accent to a dress, pants, jeans, whatevs!

A beautiful cobalt blue. I wore these adorable blue earrings with a black and white outfit and they were the pop of color I was looking for.

Woolzies {Review and Giveaway}

I love all natural products.

In our home, we are super conscience of what we bring into our home - from food to household products we use. We typically don't have dryer sheets in our house because I hate most scented things (My husband and I are both sensitive to smells) and hate the film/residue dryer sheets leave on my clothes.

I was very excited when Woolzies came into the picture. Their tag line - good for you, good for the environment. Because they are all natural, I knew there wasn't going to be the two things I hate about conventional dryer sheets from these.

You get 6 wool ball to use.

They last 1,000 loads making them very eco-friendly.

I have been using them for several weeks now and noticed my clothes are softer and dry faster than before. I didn't notice a cut down on static, but they recommend making an aluminum ball the size of one Woolzie to lower the static cling.

Woolzies was kind enough to offer you to win your own box! Make sure to enter the giveaway for your chance to win.

Front Porch Sweets, LLC Gluten Free Cookies {Product Review}

I love cookies - any type (well, all except lemon), but chocolate chip cookies are by far my favorite! It's also my go to snack when friends come over. Warm gooey cookies right out of the oven with an awesome smell that fills my house?! Ummm, yes please!

The only issue with making this sweet treat? There are so many dietary restrictions now a days, I'm nervous to serve something that could cause allergies. More and more people I know have wheat or other food allergies, and the last thing I want to do is send someone home because of a reaction to my food - and then they wont be my friend again. Okay, little dramatic but you get the point. ;)

But here is the FABULOUS news!  A friend from college started a new business of Gluten Free foods!

Courtney, founder and baker extraordinaire, started Front Porch Sweets, LLC in Atlanta. Being gluten free, she was having a hard time enjoying foods out at parties, weddings and hanging out with friends. In 2012, she started her own business to make Gluten Free living easier and tastier with quick mixes that can be enjoyed by Gluten Free or non-Gluten Free peeps. Did  I mention this stuff is incredibly delicious too?!?!? Sign me up!

I ordered Leah's chocolate chip cookie mix to try out. I got the cutest packaged cookie mix in the mail and torn into it immediately.

I opened my dry mix ingredients and realized I only needed to add 2 other ingredients. Oh yes, I knew I was already in love with this mix. I'm all about simplicity when baking.

The directions were easy to follow. I only needed 3 ingredients - the bag, butter and an egg - mix together and put in the oven.

I pulled them out of the oven and my hubs and I each took one cookie at first.

  As I sat down with a cookie and bit into it, I was amazed. It tasted just like a cake stores cookies - but better and fresh! They were moist, decedent and best of all - allergy free! We ended up going back and taking a handful more - the one cookie at a time rule didn't apply in our household that day.

I took a sampling to two of my friends at work the next day and they devoured them! Seriously, these bad boys were gone in a matter of minutes.

I highly suggest you go and order the Leah's cookies - I know you won't regret it.

Make sure to check out all the fabulous products coming out in 2013 from Front Porch Sweets. Oh, and go LIKE them on Facebook  and Twitter to get all their updates and deals. ;)

Happy snacking yall!
