This weekend was just lovely. It truly was.
I got to get up early Saturday morning, like 7 am early to walk around the farmer's market. There were hardly any people there and I got to browse all the booths in a slow manner, not the usual quick pace due to going later in the morning and a million trillion people trying to buy stuff too. I think I loved going early and to the farmer's maker in general because A) I'm getting healthy food for my family, B) I am supporting local business, but mostly because C) my Dad and I always went food shopping together and I'm in sentimental when it comes to stuff like this.
Afterwards, I came home and hosted a Thirty-One party for my sister in law. I had family and friends over, enjoyed some delicious "clean" snacks, and bought pretty new bags and organization boxes.
One of my dear friends stayed and visited for hours and I loved it. I have not gotten a chance in months to just sit and visit with friends, and I really missed it.
Stephen and I then finished Saturday night off by cooking a fantastic meal and lying in bed eating homemade chocolate strawberries and watching Friends. Yes, we might be lame and were in bed by like 8, but it was a perfect evening.
Sunday, we got to visit with Stephen's Mom and Dad for Mother's Day, run by to visit his grandmother and then come home and relax again before a busy week coming up.
All in all, I have to say it was a superb weekend!
